Do I need a password? No. BēCN Pets never uses passwords. We email you a link each time you sign in.

The email has not arrived. What now? Check your spam or junk folder first. The link is valid for 15 minutes, so if it has been longer than that, request a new one. If it still has not arrived, email support@becnpets.com.

I typed the wrong email address. Tap Use a different email on the sign-in screen and start again. Nothing is lost.

Can I stay signed in? Yes. On your own phone you stay signed in. You only need the email link on a new device, or after signing out.

Does the tag need charging or a battery? No. The tag has no battery and never needs charging. It works by being scanned.

Is the tag a GPS tracker? No. BēCN Pets is not a GPS tracker. It works alongside a visible ID tag, a registered microchip, and your own local recovery plan.

What if the tag is lost or damaged? See Your tag is lost or damaged.

Does the tag hold my personal information? No. The tag is only a starting point. It contains no personal data — the details live securely in your account, and you control what a finder sees.

Do I need to download an app? No. BēCN Pets works in your browser on any phone, tablet, or computer. There is nothing to install.

A button is not responding. Try pressing and holding it for two seconds. Several important buttons — LOST PET, Found, and Pet Reunited — work this way on purpose, so they cannot be triggered by accident.

Who can see my pet's information? Only you, and the Pet Friends you invite. If someone scans your pet's tag, they see only the pet's name, photo, and breed. Never your contact details.

Can I report a sighting without an account? Yes. Anyone can share a sighting, and you can do it anonymously.

What does "Verified" mean when I share a sighting? It is asking whether your name appears with the sighting. Verified shows your name; Anonymous does not. Both help the same amount.

How long does a lost-pet alert stay active? Until the rescue is closed — either because your pet is home, or because you close it yourself.

What does a tag include? Each Safety Tag includes 90 days of BēCN Pets service.

Is there automatic renewal? No. There is no auto-renewal. After the included 90 days, you decide whether to continue.
